Each year, Custom Woodworking Business Magazine sponsors the CWB Design Portfolio Awards competition to recognize the top custom woodworking projects submitted in each of five categories. Winning projects are selected on the basis of appearance and quality of construction.

This desk, which was displayed in the Buffalo Bill Historical Center's reception area, was cited as being among the best in the 2002 Commercial/Industrial Furniture category.
