Jackson Hole Club Chair and Ottoman

This club chair and ottoman set was created as a tribute to the western lifestyle and heritage of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Both pieces were constructed of juniper and featured leather upholstery with stitched Jackson Hole brands. Bronze side panels by western artist Jeffrey Burnham Rudolph decorated the club chair, while the ottoman featured hand-tied fringe.

About the Artist... Jeff Rudolph

A native of Cody, Wyoming, Jeff devotes his art to "playing out the dramas of the Old West." He spends many hours carving, an interest that began in his father's carpentry shop. He has been sculpting since his graduation from Brigham Young University in 1981. He works in a variety of mediums, including bronze, stone, wood, terra cotta and paper.

Jeff''s awards include the William E. Weiss Purchase Award, the Spirit of Cody monument commission, as well as two Wyoming State Historical awards in the field of fine arts. He completed a heroic seventeen-foot equestrian bronze statue of United States Senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell in full Cheyenne dress. The bronze sits upon a large granite pedestal that has two waterfalls flowing below the horse's front legs. Rudolph's tribute to Colorado's Native American Senator was unveiled in the Denver area in 2003.

Jeff's work can be seen in numerous collections, including the Buffalo Bill Historical Center and various galleries throughout the United States.
